Getting started with SurveyMonkey Apply

When a new customer gets started with SurveyMonkey Apply, what does the onboarding process entail?

The onboarding process begins with the customer working with a dedicated Customer Engagement Representative to fully scope out your requirements. This includes outlining the desired workflow for all of your users (applicants, administrators and reviewers). We’re here to ensure that you achieve the deliverables and outcomes that you’ve set out.

After we have a full understanding of your requirements, your Customer Engagement Representative will begin building out your site. The build will include all forms, workflows and automations.

After your site has been built, you’ll work with your Customer Engagement Representative to test your site and make sure everything is working as you expect it to.

Once your site has been tested, you’ll be ready to launch your site and begin collecting and reviewing applications.

Is training provided?

All users will have access to online training resources during and after the onboarding process, and these include helpful how-to videos and articles which cover every aspect of the product.

I’m an existing FluidReview customer. How do I get started with SurveyMonkey Apply?

For existing FluidReview customers, a member of the SurveyMonkey Apply team will reach out to you to have an initial discussion about a timeline for transition. We want to make sure that we roll out SurveyMonkey Apply at a time that makes the most sense for your application cycle. Once a timeline is identified, a Customer Engagement Representative will dig into your site, and work with you, to ensure that we have a full understanding of your requirements, and begin the site build.

How did you come up with the features that you have added in Apply?

From you! We put a lot of time into gathering and digesting the feedback that we received from our clients through surveys, interactions with your Customer Engagement Representatives and UserVoice. We compiled that feedback, focused on suggestions and requests that came up most frequently and built a product that we are proud of and excited to have the opportunity to show you.

Why does the design look so different? It is very modern.

We used an approach called Design Thinking that puts the user at the center of the application and we designed for the experiences our core users go through so we are optimizing the experience. That’s why whether you are an admin, applicant, reviewer or recommender you’ll find a streamlined experience to help you achieve your goals quickly and efficiently.

What can I expect to be different from the existing FluidReview platform?

So many things! But to highlight a few…
• Click throughs are more user-friendly for all user groups
• It’s quicker and easier to set-up and launch programs than it has been in the past as it is easier to navigate throughout the site as it has a more logical flow
• You have the ability to easily toggle between the edit view and monitor view of each program
• Enhanced reporting functionality
• Program specific workflows
• Unique URLs for various programs

What will happen to my FluidReview site and programs after I transition? Will FluidReview no longer exist?

Absolutely nothing with happy to your FluidReview site, all information, and resources are still there and you can access this information at anytime. We will continue to make updates to FluidReview after the launch but our focus as we move forward will be on Apply.

As an existing FluidReview customer, what do I need to get started with using the new version? Do I need to wait until my contract is up for renewal?

SurveyMonkey Apply will be available on July 17th, 2017. You don’t need to do a thing to benefit from this release, as it’s part of your existing license. We will be reaching out to identify when we can onboard you to this release when the time is right for you. We will not be updating sites without first identifying an appropriate time in your program cycle to do so.

Do I have to have my site transitioned to Apply? What happens if I am happy to stay on the FluidReview platform?

There will be no rush for you to transition your site and we will work together to determine the right timing. Your existing environment will not be impacted during this transition.

Will there be any pricing or contract changes?

At this time we are not planning on changing pricing. Everything in your existing contract stays the same, and your data will remain stored where it is currently.
